We appreciate how important it is for you to fully understand Black Zirconium. As zirconium is becoming more popular in jewellery, we feel that there are some very valid questions being asked which we would like to address.
Q: How durable are Zedd Black Zirconium rings?
A: Zedd rings can withstand day to day wear and are extremely hard wearing. We recommend that standard jewellery care still applies and for any gym use, heavy-duty work or manual jobs, that rings are removed.
Q: Does the black run all the way through the zirconium?
A: In its natural form zirconium has a greyish tone. It is the manufacturing process that transforms the outer zirconium to the blackened finish you find on our Zedd collection pieces.
Q: Is the black on Zedd, a type of plating?
A: No. Our Zedd rings are blackened by a manufacturing process which makes the outside of the zirconium harder wearing and more durable than plating.
Q: Can Zedd rings be sized?
A: Yes. We will ensure that you receive the size you require if the size required is one or two sizes up or down from your original size.
Q: What will it cost to have a ring resized?
A: If you return a ring in a ‘New & Unworn’ condition we will carry out the resize FOC for you. If however, the ring is used or has been worn, this may attract a minimum charge of £25 + vat.
Q: How do I care for my Zedd ring?
A: Treat your Zedd ring like any other item of jewellery, with the utmost care and respect.
Q: What can be done if I have scratched my ring?
A: If a customer has caused damage to their ring then please return it to us. Once received we will assess the damage and provide an assessment, quote and a lead time to rectify the damage.
Q: Where are your rings made?
A: All of our Zedd rings are designed and made in Birmingham in the United Kingdom. We also ensure that each ring is hallmarked with a UK hallmark.
Guarantee: Zedd offers a lifetime guarantee for manufacturing defects, craftsmanship or materials. We do not cover accidental damage, misuse, neglect or general wear and tear.
