We’re delighted to be featured in Professional Jeweller this month.

The events brought together generations of loyal customers, industry peers, friends and members of the Blackburn community.

Blackburn-based independent jeweller Ainsworth Jewellers marked a milestone moment with a weekend of celebrations to honour 60 years at its Darwen Street premises and 155 years in business.

Guests enjoyed a weekend filled with in-store experiences, food, drink, offers and the anniversary competition from RSVP replies or entries from those across Lancashire sharing memories and stories connected to Ainsworth Jewellers.

The competition’s star prize, a bespoke three-stone round brilliant cut lab-grown diamond ring that was created specially to symbolise the occasion, was won by Mark Holdsworth.

Additional prize winners were Abigail Barton, Marie Selenschuk and Mort and Anne Hamer, each winning a voucher for the store.

Phil Ainsworth, fifth-generation owner of Ainsworth Jewellers who was also marking 35 years with the family business, said: “We’ve been absolutely overwhelmed by the love and support shown throughout our anniversary celebrations.

“It’s been a joy to welcome both familiar faces and new visitors to the store to share in such a special moment for our family and the business.

“The wonderful competition entries reminded us just how deeply Ainsworth Jewellers is woven into the lives of our customers which is something we are truly honoured by.”

Phil’s wife, Helen Dimmick added: “This milestone is not only a celebration of our history but also of our community.

“Jewellery tells people’s stories and over 155 years we’ve had the privilege of helping generations mark their most meaningful moments.

“The anniversary weekend was a reflection of that shared legacy and our continued commitment to excellence, authenticity and service.”

The anniversary weekend also showcased the exclusive partnership with PureJewels and its new Lotus Collection, only available at Ainsworth Jewellers.

Each piece, inspired by a Lotus flower’s bloom, captures a moment in that journey, from ‘Budding Romance’ symbolised by engagement rings, to the ‘blossom’ of the romance to ‘Love in Full Bloom’ through pendants, earrings and bangles.

Designed and handcrafted in PureJewels’ East London atelier, the collection embodies the brand’s blend of cultural symbolism and British design and has introduced 22ct Sunrise Gold to the Ainsworth Jewellers offering.
